Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty, an actor, was born on the 1st of October 1995, in Berkeley, California. She is an acclaimed actress that has appeared in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento is an Italian actress and filmmaker who was born into the largest family with both. She has pursued these two professions her own. The actress made her debut when she was just nine years old in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). She played the lead as Cristina Comencini in her first film Zoo, 1988. Michele Soavi directed The Church 1989. Red Wood Pigeon, directed by Moretti in 1989, was her part as Nanni Moretti's daughter. Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is where Asia started to really become a household name. The film allowed her to progress from the roles of young girls into more complex, mature characters. This movie received a positive reception in the Cannes International Film Festival. She's made three films with her dad, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome and Phantom of the Opera. The Phantom of the Opera marks her third collaboration with her father. The others are Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze showcased Asia's absorbed style of playing. The year 1993 saw her portrayed Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, a role in which she was so intricate that she earned the David di Donatello Award for best actress. Patrice Chereau was her director in Queen Margot the film, in which she played a prominent role. She worked again with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion in 1995, giving her a second David di Donatello as well as a Grolla D'oro. Asia began her career in 1994 as a director, and produced two shorts: Prospettive (1996), documentary about her father, and Abel/Asia (1998) which was a documentary on the legendary film maker Abel Ferrara. The latter was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. Asia directed her debut feature film Scarlet Diva (2000). It was a collaborative effort with Asia as well as screenwriter/actress Linda McCartney. The film premiered all over the world in May 2000. The film was honoured at the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York. After directing a number of music videos the actress gave birth to her first child, Anna Lou. The year 2002 saw Asia on The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action-Thrille, directed by Vin Diesel. The short stories of Asia have been published in some of the most prestigious magazines.
